Today's PISA results show England up in the international rankings for education under the Conservatives. Under Labour in 2009, we were 25th, 27th and 16th for reading, maths and science but now, we are 13th, 11th and 13th.
Yesterday I welcomed the Home Secretary and Immigration Minister's plans to cut net migration, helping this government to reach our manifesto pledge of cutting immigration, something I know is a pertinent issue for many of my constituents.

It was an absolute pleasure to visit Palais Bingo in Worksop and to call a game as part of their charity fundraising for Strongbones Children's Charitable Trust. Local bingo halls are a great place to socialise and help bring our communities together.
On the 1st December, it was my team and I's privilege to welcome a coach load of constituents to Parliament. Constituents partook in a 'Question Time' with me and had a tour of Parliament. I am looking forward to hosting more constituent's visits to Parliament in the coming weeks!
On the 28th November, I served on a legislation committee regarding strengthening our counter-terrorism and border security powers. It is an honour to sit on committees like these aiding with legislation that helps to keep my constituents, and the country, safe.
