The Met Office has issued a Yellow Warning Update: Snow and Ice across the Midlands, for today until 21:00 and Saturday 16th January 2020.

Please check in with vulnerable friends and family by phone, while we stay at home due to National Lockdown Restrictions which are in place.

Travelling: Due the increase in snow across Nottinghamshire, the weather level warning has risen to YELLOW across the Midlands. Please take care, when driving across the constituency as roads are becoming very icy and some routes are impassable.

Nottsbus Connect Disruption: The 108 Nottsbus Connect Service in Worksop is unable to run due to snow as the majority of the route is impassable. The service has unfortunately been suspended for the rest of today (14/01/2021)

Nottinghamshire County Council have put snow gritting teams out across Nottinghamshire to help clear the roads of ice and snow, keeping main routes open to the public.

Clumber Park has closed today from 12:30pm to keep staff, volunteers and visitors safe. You can keep up to date with them on Twitter here: @NTClumberPark

Idle Valley Reserve has closed their park due weather restrictions, you can keep up to date with them here on Twitter here: @IdleValleyChat
