£2 Bus Fares Extension - following the announcement that we’ve extended our £2 bus fare policy until 31 October 2023, with single fares capped at £2.50 until November 2024, I asked Transport Minister Richard Holden MP to confirm that without this cap, some single fares could have been as high as £6 each.

This cap is particularly important in rural and remote areas such as our own and Nottinghamshire will also be benefiting from £1,210,428 in extra funding as a result of today’s announcement.
