I visited West Burton B CCGT power station to speak to CEO Chris Elder and Operations Manager Dean Laws-Freeman about practical issues surrounding the site, local investment and the wider issues of energy supply to people in Bassetlaw and beyond.
The site is owned by EIG and has a 1332 MW Combined Cycle Gas Turbine power station and 49 MW battery.
