As your Member of Parliament, I have always lobbied the Government for more funding for our town and have had previous success in securing £17.6 million for our Hospital as well as £20 million for the Town Centre last year. That is why when the Prime Minister announced this week that Worksop would receive an additional £20 million of Government 'Levelling Up' funding to transform our town, I was delighted that my hard work championing Bassetlaw had paid off.
